Everything you need to know before booking your child’s unforgettable Bertie & Belle celebration. 

Venue & Setup 

Q: Can Bertie & Belle book the venue for our event? 

A: We no longer book venues, but we highly recommend choosing one with two separate rooms — one for food and one for the party activity. 

Look for venues with ample parking, easy access for loading/unloading, and toilets close to the party room for little legs. 

Booking & Payments 

Q: When do you need final guest numbers? 

A: As soon as possible! Final figures are due by Thursday, two weeks before your event so we can roster hosts and send your payment link on Friday. 

Tip: Chase RSVPs on Monday and ask for replies by Wednesday to stay on track. 

Q: Do you require a deposit? 

A: Yes — a 50% deposit of the 6-guest package is required to secure your booking. 

Final balance (including extras and additional guests) is due two weeks before via card payment link. 

For parties more than 3 miles from B90 1BJ, travel costs will be added to your deposit. 

Q: Are deposits refundable? 

A: Deposits are non-refundable, but we’re happy to reschedule your party (subject to availability). 

Q: When is the final balance due? 

A: Final payment is due two weeks before your event, via card payment link. We never request bank transfers. 

Q: How do monthly instalments work? 

A: Instalments are paid by card via a payment link issued on the 1st of each month. No bank transfers — ever. 

Safety & Insurance 

Q: Do you have public liability insurance? 

A: Yes — we’re covered for £1,000,000 via AXA Insurance. 

Q: Why are consent forms required? 

A: Consent forms outline activities and risks, and also cover photo permissions. 

If any parent declines photo consent, no photography will be permitted at the event to safeguard all guests. 

Q: Do your hosts have enhanced checks? 

A: Yes — all hosts have enhanced checks specific to Bertie & Belle. 

Note: These checks are not legally required for children’s parties, but we go the extra mile. 

Q: Can you sign an NDA for high-profile families? 

A: Absolutely. We’re experienced with NDAs and all hosts are briefed on privacy restrictions. 

No party content is ever shared on personal social media. 

Party Day Details

Q: What if a guest doesn’t show up? 

A: Unfortunately, we can’t offer refunds for no-shows. 

For Cupcake, Jewellery & Fairy Parties we’ll leave the activity for you to pass on to the absent guest where possible. 

Q: How much space is needed? 

A: Our table activities are designed for children to stand around the table, making a 6-seater table suitable for 10 guests. 

We can also provide tables if needed. Just make sure there’s enough space — and coffee for your hosts! 

Q: Is there a guest limit? 

A: Yes — Bronze Spa Parties are capped at 10 guests, Silver & Gold Spa Parties @8  Other party types have a limit of 10 guests  

Q: Do I need to provide music? 

We recommend creating a playlist in advance — avoid Alexa or smart hubs to prevent squabbles over song choices! 

Q: What if I live on a red route or have parking restrictions? 

A: No problem — just let us know in advance. 

Tell us where the nearest loading bay is and where we can park (including any charges).
